TRIGGER WARNINGS:
slavery, abuse, blood, blood magic, murder, slave rebellions, child abuse.IMPORTANT NOTE: Falon is a former slave and it will be reflected in their bio, description of their scars, and in their personality. They're deeply traumatized from their time as a slave and heavily distrust people who have a similar position to their former master. They also don't like / trust certain fandom popular characters, such as Dorian, Ashur / Viper, Tarquin. This is not my personal view of those characters. Falon distrusts them due to their own trauma and past experiences with people who are in a similar position and isn't fully trusting of these people's intentions. Please keep this in mind when interacting / plotting with Falon.
Character Specific Rules:
1. Falon is a Former Tevinter Slave: This colors the way Falon views certain situations, people, types of people, and factions. Please keep this in mind if you're writing someone from Tevinter in general, someone who openly and regularly uses blood magic, or anyone from the Shadow Dragons. This also colors the way that Falon views some of Solas's actions, although they don't excuse the egghead fully.2. Falon has Chaotic Tendencies: They're not the goody two shoes Rook that the game wants to push. Befitting the Warden origin story, they have a tendency to choose chaotic actions at times, especially in the heat of the moment. They also tend to have a sharper tongue than the game dialogue options allow. They will more than likely sass your character, especially if you're writing a Shadow Dragon head / founder, a high ranking Crow, a blood mage, etc.
3. On Romance: Falon isn't someone who falls in love easily due to their past. They also aren't someone who gravitates toward someone who is purely good or thinks that the best conflict resolution is always talking. They also probably will not fall for someone who is actively a blood mage, a magister, or even people who are super rich ( some exceptions made ).
4. About the Past: Falon isn't going to be open about their past or their scars, to the point that they will get angry if pushed on the matter. Unless otherwise discussed, your muse knows nothing of Falon's past. The only people who know Falon's past are Antoine and Evka and that's it.
Characters
Canon Divergencies & Other Important Notes:
- Older Rook: Unlike what the game wants to imply, Falon is not super young. They're in their early 30s and has been through hell. They don't like being talked down to by their companions, especially if they're around the same age. They kind of understand it from characters like Varric and even Emmrich, although they will occasionally remind Emmrich that they're not as "fresh faced" as they look.- Extremely Sassy: Falon can be incredibly sharp tongued / sassy, especially towards people that they don't like or to deflect conversations that they don't want to have.
