1. Heavily HC Based - I play Paxton as strictly headcanon based due to the limited amount of information that we got about her in the film. Her first name, a lot of her hobbies, her favorite colors, etc. are all my invention. If you choose to steal any of my ideas, I will make sure that everyone knows. Come up with your own ideas if you choose to write Sister Paxton.2. Strictly Post Canon - Unless I've known you a while and we've heavily discussed it, I will only write Kayleigh after the events of the film. She lives, Barnes lives, and they've both defected from the Mormon church. This is all non-negotiable, no matter the plot. Keep in mind that while Kayleigh no longer is part of the Mormon cult or is part of any organized religion, she still strongly believes in God and is unshaken in her faith.
3. Kayleigh's Sexuality - While her sexuality is not mentioned or hinted at in the film, I write her as someone who was a heavily closeted bisexual with a preference for women. In most verses, she's with Adriel Barnes ( shedisbeliefs ).
4. Acceptance - Kayleigh is hugely accepting of the majority of people and firmly believes in the "God is love" part of faith. She believes that it is not her place to judge anyone for their decisions and is happy to accept anyone regardless of their faith, sexuality, etc. The only exception is if they go out of their way to intentionally hurt others, either physically or emotionally. Even then, she'll pray for them to find a better way ( as shown in canon by her praying for Reed ).
